Recommended to red more side stories in the novel
Idk maybe your reasons might have changed
But
I’m agreeing with you bc even in the side stories from the novel. Even though it’s ended in the marriage. There’s still some questions in my head, it’s just something’s missing idk it’s doesn’t feel right.

For all the things Woo-Yeon does throughout this story, he doesn’t do nearly enough to earn redemption in the end. I’m glad there’s some indication that In-Seob might be able to set some boundaries, but it doesn’t feel like he’s truly safe. Woo-Yeon is still a manipulator, still attempts to lie to him near the end. His affection for In-Seob doesn’t make up for all of the abuse he put him through. The ending feels bittersweet at best. Woo-Yeon isn’t really a better person, but poor In-Seob is too wrapped up in his feelings for him to see he deserves better. It’s an interesting story, but not a happy one (to me).
