10/10 it was a beautiful story with cinematic art to accompany it
I thought it was well written as well, and I did enjoy it a lot, however, I do think it is full of cliches and there isn't really anything unique or "new", and I think that just goes to show a story can be very good even if it is not exactly unique.
absolute cinema, peak, piece of art. One if not the best story hands down ever written, thought out and drawn. i tried reading the fan translated novel but maybe due to the bad translation it was a huge letdown compared to the manhua. The compositions, the lightning, the paragraphs, monologues, art style, the hints, plot twist and turns... i wonder how many ppl noticed the ml's eyes actually showed a male shiluette right after the scene he heard the mc's voice being male and theyre talking after getting out of the car in ch 39. also the pose of the cover pic (the og where they stand next to each other and the seme's face is only halfly shown) that particular pose/composition actually is in multiple parts of the story. Ive reread it one too many times. yes i cried too. i usually dont. this did it for me. Its too good. Only flaw is that it ended. should have always gone of forever to keep giving me the same serotonin.
I had the opposite experience, I read the mtl first and god it was 10 times better than the manhwa, the manhwa feels like a summary.
the novel was carried hard by the author's writing, the extra details and monologues it almost made forget how cliche the plot is
