I agree. It was satisfying when the mc distanced himself. Needed more of that lol.
Especially since he saw himself as average but he had two people interested in him! I wanted him to at least build up his self esteem before they got together again.
More chapters and the mc dating around could have made a difference. Liked the ml cried and begged but it was necessary to see that more lol. Maybe a few more dates where he asks for forgiveness and dotes on the mc to feel that devotion more?
I have read bls where the ml was a player but fell for the mc harder and was surprised by it written better. I guess because we didn’t have the ml’s perspective more in this one? I don’t know
