My understanding is that 'Hikaru' never required those costs or offerings that were given to it. I think, as other people have said online, that 'Hikaru' works using "Monkey's Paw" rules. It grants wishes, but with ironic and devastating results.
Ex. The real Hikaru wished for Yoshiki to not be alone, so it took over Hikaru's dead body. As opposed to something less horrifying like saving him.
Is there a twist? Why is there no cost pertain to her wish? I thought wishes never work out as intended? Her wish also doesn't explain that he needs to be 'Hikaru' after showing the real form. They don't even have the technology to contain it. After all, 'Hikaru' won't feel the social repecursions if he is in his real form. I know it's not done yet, I just don't get the logic.
