If I were Yuta, I’d be mad as hell. Ten years of silence, ten years of suffering alone. Then right when he wants to finally escape that pain, the man who abandoned him shows up and acts like some noble hero? Please. I’d lose it.

I’m glad there are people who actually understand Yuta’s pain and why he did what he did. But I still see people on X who don’t get his character at all, saying he’s “ungrateful” for being angry at the man who “saved” him, or questioning why Yuta wants to end his own life so much. It’s exhausting. I wish Yuta could end up with someone who actually deserves him. But with this author? No chance. She’ll either kill him or break him even more after surgery, so Seunghyun can stand there playing the noble savior of the mentally and physically shattered patient never mind that he was the one who left Yuta to rot in the first place.

It will be so meaningless if the author manages to give us a happy ending, I prefer a gut wrenching but a very realistic and reasonable ending, I don't want them to be together at all

Honestly, it really feels like the author is strangely fixated on r*pe. She even sets up this situation where Yuta “forces” Seunghyun into a blowjob, basically paving the way for Seunghyun to r*pe him repeatedly later. And in the first two times, Seunghyun even makes sure Yuta bleeds.

It’s like she wants to write a story where the top hurts the bottom without any real consequences. Since she couldn’t make Dooshik do that to Jooha, she transferred that role to Seunghyun and came up with some excuse for it. But how is she going to argue that Seunghyun is actually good for Yuta? Yuta is already traumatized physically and mentally. Are we really supposed to forget everything that happened?

If the author wants to portray a traumatized bottom, at least give him a better partner. Yuta has suffered enough, being forced, tortured, abandoned for ten years, and on top of that, Seunghyun r*ped him multiple times and never stopped even when Yuta said it hurt and begged him to stop.

Trying to redeem him by showing him keeping Yuta alive and taking care of him now just feels like trying to cover violence with affection, a kiss after a kick. And let’s not forget, Seunghyun constantly called Yuta’s life stink, filthy, dirty, and kept labeling him a cheap prostitute. He threw those insults right at Yuta’s face over and over just to humiliate him. And now the author expects us to swallow the line that Yuta’s life is “precious” to him?

It honestly infuriating how she’s forcing this redemption arc on him, like he isn’t the same man who told Yuta not to drag him into his “stinky life.” If I were Yuta and woke up only to realize I had to suffer all over again, I’d beat his ass into a pulp without hesitation.

100% agree, at least, even if the author is obsessed with torture, make them switch places, like a bottom torturing the top for good reasons of course, we need to see more evil selfish bottoms in Manhwas

You’re totally right! I need to see more unhinged bottoms who actually make their heartless, selfish tops pay for what they did. In most manhwa with abuse or trauma themes, it’s always the bottom suffering endlessly while the top gets away with everything. And even when the top does get regretful, there are never any real consequences, If anything, the bottom’s suffering is what gives the top his growth. Just like in this story, Yuta has to go through surgery just so Seunghyun can have a redemption arc Honestly, new update tomorrow Yuta better be the one teaching Seunghyun a lesson or two, not the other way around.

Authors need to shot in the head to realize the audience reading the stories are not some 16 years teen but grown ass adults need realistic endings not some abuserxvictim happily ever after like u could forget the abuse but we don't

Exactly. I really don’t want the author to make Seunghyun confess and then have Yuta forgive him right away. But I can already see where this is going… she’ll probably give Yuta a harsh aftermath from the surgery just to give Seunghyun another chance to be the “savior.” And honestly, that frustrates me. Even in the last line of ch44, he acted like Yuta was the one at fault, completely ignoring the fact that he abandoned Yuta and let him suffer alone in that horrible place.
