This ^^, the author keeps dragging the story's shock factor rather then exploring different factors which actually makes a horror + psychological story good. And the way the random ass 'antagonists' are just copy and pastes of eachother with every single one having rape! Makes you wonder if the story is using rape as a way to push the story further along... it literally feels like some fetish material now since the MC literally has almost no reaction and the rape and torture he experiences gets blatantly ignored and is never mentioned again after the next chapter and new opponent is revealed...
EXACTLY!! Not every antagonist needs to be a pedophile rapist, there are so many ways to make an evil character who doesn't assault people, once was fine, but more than is insane. You're def right about how it feels like a fetish story and at a certain point it feels like the author is too focused on getting to the climax of the story and forgetting that a good plot has buildup, which is why when one antagonist gets killed off, another one appears almost immediately to "ride off the high" of the previous arc.

Please why is every single character in this universe supervillian levels of evil howeverrr unfortunately on a real note, this is getting boring ash, the author continues to use the same plot foundation for every arc. Evil character gets introduced --> preys on mc's naivety --> ml finds out and kills them (excluding the one female student). It lowkey gives diet brutal manga. A good "horror" (cause tbh this ain't horror) story isn't going to rely on countless shock factor to be good btw.
I know some lowkey annoying mfs are gonna say "don't like don't read" which is one of the worst comebacks ever because how is someone gonna know they don't like something without reading it. But everyone who is saying that this is getting boring aren't haters they're just people who are tired of the same tropes happening every chapter and are allowed to criticise a manga that they once enjoyed.
