They could have lit a book on fire and threw it out the window. They could’ve wrote some shit on a bedsheet and hung it up. They could’ve tossed books with letters tied to them. They could’ve let somebody know. They could’ve beat this man’s ass when he came through the door. They’re fucking teenagers! I was over it.
I can't help but think that they could have tied bedsheets, curtains, extra cloth to make a rope and escape through the window. Even if 1 bold person escaped they could have gathered support.
