This is such a lame attempt at writing villians, the mc is as bland as paper and the only realistic emotion she has is anger. None of the main characters have any sort of empathy, i mean killing servants just bc they read a letter??? That some israel level logic there…
Its not just the mc whos entitled but the two brothers asw, like fine you were locked up in a dirty tower… but you had each other and food and even a heating system but ofc theyre ‘nobles’ and they would go ‘crazy’ if they had to live any longer like that (as paraphrased by the mc)
Mind you that the average life of a commoner- infact commoner children had it harder bc they had to WORK instead of being allowed to laze around all day. And also, the only ‘child’ that was there was the little sister who btw didnt deserve all of that and she was just a kid so shes excused. But the others?? They were 16- def old enough according to historical standards to pull their shit tgth. But can you expect from a bunch of pampered posh brats. You can look at this situation thru a modern lense as much as you want, but then you would have to turn a blind eye to how lovey dovey the mc (who is mentally an adult) and the literal 16 year old second son, were acting. The only way to bypass that and to not make it akin to pedophillia is to look at it thru a historical lense where 16 isnt considered young.
I find the main cast to be very badly written villians. A good villian isnt rlly a ‘villain’ i thought we all knew that- they are a good natured person who was forced to stick up for themselves. Like Cale from trash of the counts family. It was all going well until they decided to kill the servants bc they read a godamn letter! Thats where i draw the line. Esp with the current world events happening this is not a time to be condoning this behaviour.
And the fls indifference to all that! Shes more like a commoner than she is a noble yet she protects the nobles based off a relationship they had 7 years ago. You would’ve thought that seven years were enough to learn about basic human rights. But no- theyre ‘villains’ so pathetic.
And when the og fl brother acts protective of the og fl- ITS JUST LIKE HOW THE TWO BROTHERS WHERE ACTING WITH THE MC- yet he gets dismissed immediately- strangled even?? And then called an illegitimate child. That tells me enough about that with author is like. Nothing moral exists- just double standards.
Shame on the author for writing such an atrocious piece. And shame on everyone who doesnt see a problem with this- if my points havent convinced you i suggest you go read Karl Marx. That should swiftly take you out of the bubble where you think this sort of behaviour is okay in any universe.
Honestly, most isekai and historical webtoons promote capitalism and brainwash the readers to make them sympathize with the billionaires and multi millionaires
