Stuff like this is so conflicting

It's very hard (at least for me) to get engaged in a story where a seemingly innocent person is kidnapped and violated--and then the narrative switches it up to reveal it's a revenge story. Definitely think it could've been something longer and potentially more profound, ie the next "Pawn's Revenge." (Ironically this series was made during the author's break of their main series, which started the same year as "The Pawn's Revenge" and just finished last year.)

    It's like almost every rape bl, the author makes u think the victim is innocent, and then reveal they were evil to the rapist I feel like it'd be easier to accept if they just showed that the victim was evil from the start and it wouldn't be such a predictable trope yet again
