I like the fact that in the last panels he looked like he's finally taking his course/career seriously, compared to living like a nepo baby in the early chapters. I'm quite excited that he didn't just come to the cruise to meet her (and we haven't confirmed yet that he knows she will be there), but that he wants to step up to his job and earn serious knowledge and experience for his individual growth.
