He was still fucking Kim Dan under the pretense of a JOB/money and then was a dick again before the fight, so miss me with that 'he made an effort' bullshit He doesn't get points for being sexually coercive after he already made Dan a sleep walking, suicidal alcoholic. Who gives a flying shit about rings lmao He drunk cried and woke up a person who JUST got off sleeping pills and has ONE good actually consensual sex scene and even that felt like Dan had to wipe JKs drunk baby ass.

I'm just stating the fact that his personality never changed to better, he just realised that he did terrible stuff to kim dan and was simply trying to not do that again. He did apologise, he did regret. But never made an effort to stop talking to others rudely, arrogantly, without anger outbursts out of nowhere. He still has his rude character, anger, impulsivity, violence, past trauma issues (y'all wouldn't want to date a man like that, trust me)

OP commented that Jjk only realized that Dan is important to him AFTER he got stabbed. My reply was based on that comment, as he had already figured that part out BEFORE the assault, with proof being the rings, among other things.

I totally agree with what you're saying in this comment. Although he had realized that Dan is precious to him, he still has a very shitty attitude. And since that's been brought up, I don't expect him to magically fix that attitude right after Dan wakes up. Yes, he is on his knees begging and crying, and yes he genuinely means it, but intentions and habits don't function the same. People can't automatically shift their personality and behavioral habits after a single event even when they want to. Hopefully he'd learn to manage his temper with time and fix his rude character though.
