I think the owner and tod are related. The owner probably lost him to the skinwalkers ( the old wives tale the boss was talking about) and Tod was turned into one of them. The reason no one lasts long is because Dennis isn't the only victim.
Tod was happy when he got Dennis to kill the sheep was cause he knew that meant he'd already trapped and had control over Dennis. I think the people who resist him are the lucky ones that got away and the ones who succumb like Dennis end up their prey like the sheeps.
Over this was a 9.5/10 The art was gorgeous, the psychological and supernatural horror elements was so spooky and genuinely terrifying. Not to mention the smut being amazing. It was sad and tragic too on dennis's end. What an amazing story, I only wish there was more.
