This is sorta spoilers but tbh I would describe the it as less of a video game and more of a Groundhog Day type situation with horror game aspects, so it’s sort of a video game and sort of more mystical/time loop/alternate dimension type idk I hope this is helpful

I might be stupid and I’m only 10 chapters in but I feel like I don’t understand the setting of this series at all, mc is stuck in a “game” but he can’t leave? It’s obviously not virtual reality or a theatrical way of depicting gameplay. Did he get sucked in unwillingly somehow or is there a company selling an evil ass Fuck You game that traps you in it and kills you and he bought it voluntarily? The details might be a spoiler but I feel like I need to know if I just need to continue suspending my disbelief for the rest of the series before I get too far into it cause the mc seems utterly unperturbed by the fact that he’s stuck in an actual video game
