i feel like they completely sabotaged lily mervin's character. she was interested in our FL from the beginning, but then suddenly had a single dream of the past and went full villain mode? she was initially hardworking and calculating; it makes no sense that she would get fixated on the past where she had the holy knights on her side bc of whatever deal she made with the ML. it would have made much more sense for her to try to continue her good relationship with the FL and holy knights and make them her allies to help prince glenn, instead of becoming a weird, obsessive, irrational villain.
also the way they were talking about prince glenn, i really thought they would wake him up XD also someone with divine power killed him...who? isnt it just the FL and priestess who have divine power? that made no sense and we just moved on.
we also brushed over FL's dad killing her brother/cousin to resurrect her mom after decades of trying, and the ML immediately killing her LMAO. i do think the characters are cute, even though they're all one-dimensional (mary sue FL, obsessive ML, vengeful original FL, loyal maid, useless second prince, golden boy first prince, sadistic father)
