idk if i'm too woke or something, but i actually find it really refreshing when people are honest about what they want from relationships. it's not insane to be in your early 20s and only want sex, rather than romance. rather than getting into an unhealthy romantic relationship, i find it more mature to choose to have a sex-only relationship with another consenting adult who is on the same page. and then, if you find someone that you want a romantic relationship with, you can drop the sex-only relationships and pursue that person. idk why people act like that's so insane, or like someone is a morally corrupt person for sleeping around. it only becomes a problem when you're not honest about the fact that you only want sex and nothing more. but if you can't handle characters who sleep around, at the end of the day, you shouldn't be reading a story with a character who has slept around.
I AGREE! also i feel like some people here react so strongly bc they equate “sex” with emotional commitment by default so when someone separates the two, it feels wrong to them. but that’s more abt their personal values than some universal rule
