I don't think Jaehyuk is going to take homophobic ridicule the same way Garam does. If he does get attacked by homophobes, he will likely get over it quickly because he is written with a narcissistic personality trait; however, having experienced it firsthand will help him to understand how cruel people are towards gay people, through a first person pov. Seeing Jaehyuk being bullied for being gay would feel to Garam like reliving the past, so that's why I think Garam would have an extreme reaction to seeing it, even if Jaehyuk himself doesn't let himself be affected by it.
I feel like the only way Jaekyung would understand how serious homophobic comments are is Garam getting hate☹☹
Very true, and I actually think it would be realistic for people to skip over Jaehyuk and go right to targeting Garam instead, because of Jaehyuk's small celebrity status and his background. Garam was mentioned in the message board discussion and was in the picture taken after all.
