i get where you're coming from and I agree with you, but not totally
to me for ewan case is just acceptance, yanase seno often draws rape but it's always on character that are, in some ways, used to it
ewan grew up with that shifty dog by his side and he knew how larga acted purely on instinct without thinking much about the other, that's why he always accepted it from seto and zazie and then teached them how to treat him, he literally humanized them
all this to say that even thought there are some loose knots from v1 I honestly think it's pretty different from the others (at least for the ones I've read so far)
it's also unusual, even though it's a shame, that a 3p Manga is poli instead of a threesome with angst and then a choice, so I honestly think overall we can't really expect much from zazie and seto cause they lived as animals before learning a lot from ewan, while the old shitty larga knew what he was doing but for ewan wasn't really a trauma cause of his past, we instead see him forgiving that little shit, almost understanding him (even though there's no shit to understand, but at the end of the day larga can learn from humans but still act on instincts)
btw there are lot of different opinions but the art makes one forgets everything honestly HAHAHA

This was one of the opinion of a fellow reader on mangaupdates about this manga do I say i relate to it ?? YES **the set up of the first chapter made me think this would proceed with a semi-serious gritty powerplay tone but it just becomes a frictionless moe moe kyun romance. yes, there's conflict between characters but it easily gets resolved without much fanfare. in my head, i was comparing it to asada nemui's works cause at least after the rape, there would be some weight to it right, some significance to the romance?
but anyway, i think that the story has the same issue as stigmata by takeheshi hidebu, setting up a complicated love story with clear obstacles and going the route of lighthearted shallow bl. an effortless/shallow romance is not bad and it can work well. however, if the author sets up the situation with a serious rape scene and then chooses not to engage with any of those implications, it just gives you the feeling of a wasted setting.**
