Hold on!! This isn’t this type of story…

First of all, there’s no grape, not even “dubcon”.

It’s a very deep story, honestly, nothing close to those stories out there, lol.

It would be very shallow of me to just call them both “trash”. They have a lot of flaws in their personalities, but it’s all very well explained in the story.

I won’t be leaving spoilers, but overall it’s a very heartbreaking story, EXTREMELY tragic (with a happy ending).

Plus, the best regretful arc you’ll ever see in your life (literally, i’m no even joking).

But there’s a context to their actions, it’s not like those stories out where the seme threats the uke (for example), nothing like it actually.

And well… I can’t guarantee u, both of them payed their price for their wrongdoings (a bit too much, honestly).

Because NO ONE in this story is a “pure victim”. We’re not talking abt those stories where the uke is a hopeless little guy with no personally, that just takes everything from the “seme” and suffers like a baby; or where the “seme” is pure evil over nothing and makes uke’s life a living hell.

Both characters are so well made I could legit kiss the author’s foot.

The story is just awesome, I have never in my life cried so much, it’s been days I read it but I can’t see to forget them tbh… <3

Overall, if I had to explain without giving much spoilers.

They both have many flaws. The uke has violent personality, and well.. His an addict, so he can be very unreasonable when he’s high (which is understandable in the context, lol).

As for the seme… Oh well. He’s a common who hates the monarchy, and will do almost everything to accomplish his desires. He managed to earn lots of money and recognition through selling opium.

Their mindset led them through A LOT. Throughout the story, both do things they shouldn’t do to each other, and hopelessly fall in love while on it.

Overall, I can guarantee they payed for their wrongdoings in the worst ways possible. It’s to an extend that when I was close to the end, I even felt it was a bit too much and they didn’t deserve such hardships.
