I can help those confused but I will preface I won't reveal anything as I actually figured out why Teacher was so baffled by the direct match of demon and angel and why Jin was cast out besides the obvious incident.

So basically, Teacher aimed to combine Nobility, Happiness, Balance, Knowledge, and Strength based on the Aristotelian philosophy for the pillars of what makes up a flourishing, and thus longer-lasting, life.(And yes, one could argue its more Platonist, but I think Aristotle fits better. And TECHNICALLY, this is based on Darwinism but...icl I can't be bothered to dive 110% into eugenics despite it's role in the story. Side note: I have a degree in philosophy so if you read my comments for this story so far you may already see where this is heading.) Moving along... essentially, the combination of these five would result in perfection to combine with Jin, or so he thought. He mentioned the 'corruption of nobility and aberration of perfection' because the problem with humanity and the concept Teacher aimed to achieve is that essentially freewill wins out in almost every instance.

When you create absolute extremes, you create absolute opposites to as is the way of matter and entropy, leading to chaos. Another way to think about it is that the angels we think of (religion aside) are typically portrayed as perfect , but when you add free will, they become "corrupted" or turn to demons, or the fallen if not absolutely opposite. It's the same difference here. Jin, being the most appropriate example, is perfect because he is canonically imperfect. He tries to bring out the best of the five to become one, but in order to do so because of their complexes, he must simultaneously invoke and do the worst. It's paradoxical 100%, but simply the truth of the matter. Despite his abilities and what we would call shortcomings, he is in fact the perfect HUMAN. Key word being human. Not to say the others aren't any more human in this regard, but they lack fundamental understanding due to the tampering, which Im just choosing not to touch on for explanation sake.

Back to Teacher, he is a ultimately a computer lacking true sentience, so he likely couldn't understand or process the moral or ethical implications when he first tampered with the kids genetics. I believe (and could be wrong) that it didn't really understand the gravity until creating the recording Kimoto watched earlier on. Additionally, I believe the reason why Jin looks like Creator is due to maybe 1 or both things: Teacher's fondness toward Creator that made it want to make Jin appear as him as absolute perfection, or that Jin is directly related to him in some way....won't say anymore on that for now.

Anyways, we can see two other examples of the absolute issue through the Kleio womb as well. Charin and Tehir (while not confirmed but I highly speculate) are twin brothers of the same inception from Kleio, we see the fall of Tehir the Nobility and Charin the Ignobility and how both went wrong (or right if we are truly going to embrace the humaness that makes them the perfect humans to begin with).

Anyways I hope this helps. Feel free to ask anything that maybe I could've explained better or need clarification/just have questions on.

Ohhh this is so interesting….. I love seeing things from other lenses you always learn something new!! adding a more limited biology perspective but even the Teachers approach to creating the perfect human was fundamentally flawed not just bc of the darwinism/eugenics that you mentioned, but also because if there exists a niche for nature to live in and exploit, it will adapt or evolve to fit into that niche by chance, which we see with the demon (although i dont remember if theyve mentioned demons just appear, are naturally occurring, mate, etc i would have to reread from the beginning). It very much turns into an order (/religion) vs chaos trope where the theme of chaotic, uncontrollable nature (or in this case, human free will) often winning over forces of control

I really liked your comment and totally agree about few things but you are missing few important key points.

    First is, Jin

Teacher found Jin at the desert.

Teacher said when he found him Jin looked like a 5 years old child with a perfect balance, posture and intelligence that didn't belong to a child at his age.
So he followed Jin's steps backwards to find out where he came from.
Which teacher learned he came out from the place where the fallen collosal Demon's heart was.
And confirmed later when he made some tests on Jin, he learned that where Jin's organs should be his whole body was made of full of heart muscles.
Though Teacher noticed that with time Jin changed/adapted those muscles to nearly close looking of human organs.

So the Teacher had nothing to do with how Jin looked.Nor he did anything to temper with his body.To Teacher he was perfect from the start.

(Though it's interesting how the Researcher and Jin resembles each other.Maybe that's why teacher doted on him.)

    Same as Kimono.

He wasn't originally human either. He was inserted to a human child's body as he was Colossal Demon's brain. And as teacher said in this chapter he thought maybe putting them together would be something good but it backfired.

That's also why Jin was attached to Kimono and saw others as impurities.

And second is,Tehir and Charin being twins.

In the story it's been explained that those who have/had "the womb/capability of getting pregnant" have/had the same specific looks.

So that's why Charin and Tehir looked really similar.

Other than that, Tehir is from another species who have those ego halos that makes people their followers.
The teacher said he was the last one of his kind.Because everyone from his kind immediately get executed because of how dangerous they were to humankind.

So there's no way they are siblings/twins.

    And lastly my personal opinion about why The teacher decided to destroy all the project is;
I think after seeing what he wanted to create manifested as a demon, he came to realise that you can't make perfections without imperfections.
Maybe that's why he remembered at his last moments the Researcher.Maybe in that moment what the Research said(though it wasn't shown what it was) made him realize that humans were already perfect. So that's why he wished them to live and be happy.

If I remember correctly, was Tehir not from the same womb as Cap’n? And the teacher just kidnapped Tehir before he could be executed? Hence why Jin said Cap’n and they looked alike — because they share the same paternal origin

For the halos I thought it was something that was said to have a very small chance like 0.009% or something to manifest for some darwin children, and isn't really species linked, just small probability to manifest in darwin linked.

After getting the replies I re-read the whole thing again and I deeply apologize to everyone that I mixed some parts about Charin and Tehir. That was my fault.
Its been a long time I read the previous chapters that I got mixed things about those two.
    Again I am really sorry.

After re-reading I saw that everything about Charin's past was explained at chapter 22.
As well as some of Tehir's at chapter 28.

Turns out all Their, Charin and their half siblings negative sides and their looks came from the same father who surprisingly was a promising researcher.
And %70 of their siblings and their father sui***d because of their inferiority complex and depression.
And rest of their siblings (which is the %30) ended up at sex industry (which green haired guy was able to find parts for Charin later)

So it's interesting after all those negative aspects how Tehir became someone as a Darwin Child with a Superior Halo.
And if he had this much negativity already, why their teacher got the need to temper it with too.

Lmaooo I have two degrees but this one fundamentally applies more than the other in many capacities related to the story. Also, I hope no one thought it was a sneaky plug-in. I was moreso saying that to say that I have extensively read the literature of many of those great thinkers to know what I was saying and why (or more like the angle I was coming from) to explain the theories of perfectionism that has been argued throughout all of history even by the greats like Kant, Rawls, Spinoza, Barry, Slote, and so many more.
