Just my take, take it with a grain of salt

I'm so confused, it's been months since Sheena arrived and all that stuff with the door. It seemed so urgent to the point that it seemed like they'd have to deal with that "darkness" within the week or something, monsters were even rampaging and demons were spawning. Now all of a sudden they have the leisure to travel to the capital and all that, declare a war and hold a wedding ceremony, these went on for months surely as simply travelling to and from the north takes weeks (or was it a month?). Where is the urgency to deal with the door and why is it suddenly so calm???

I binge read this as it's been years since I last read it but I just now realized how unimpressive Lan actually is. She's the type of MC that only seems so great because people around her are much more unimpressive. Kinda like making an MC smart by making the villains dumb. She only had the cheat code of knowing the future and modern world that's why she's done well for herself, but when things happen outside of dealing with things she's already "read" she just becomes a damsel in distress. They keep painting her as this such a "good person" but it's just the bare minimum of human decency. Lmao. Even the villains were so cliché and one dimensional, the author seemed to just spam villains rather than making just one good villain.

Yeah, still quite enjoyable, maybe it's the nostalgia and bcs there's no annoying or frustrating plotlines.
