ngl i still don’t like him cuz if i was in the fl’s situation i would hate his ass. i think he’s a great chara though bc he kept being insane lol no redemption arc
yea i absolutely hate his guts but im digging how his character doesn't have any redemption. he's just a fucked up piece of shit through and through
yes--but you know what the great thing is my friend? we are not the fl. which means we can enjoy both of their suffering and the angst that comes with it. Ex husband for the win!! ^^
i tend to empathize a lot with characters, so even though the FML and ML are amazing, i personally can’t really enjoy this suffering because i still can’t fully understand how he became like that. he literally killed her father… imagine someone trying to court you after taking away someone you deeply loved i’d be traumatised lol
and of course i know it’s fiction, that’s precisely why i said i liked him as a character. even if i can’t sympathise with him emotionally, people like him do exist in real life, and i think that’s what makes his character interesting
this is so messy lol.
