i feel like the author has developed the story so beautifully. at first it was just like any other romance, them meeting, having sex, finding comfort in each other. but as time progressed, the story leaned more into the family dynamics and also the lives of the people around them. i love how it's not just about 2 people and their kid, but it's about everyone, and i feel like a story like that is so hard to flesh out, but i loved how it's done here. i loved how realistic it all was, naruse's family, and even how yanagi turned out. i don't like his character but at the same time i cant blame him, because i have felt it too. i loved asumi's family dynamics and how realistic it was, i can almost see my own family in there, though mine is more accepting i think. i was so sad about the last couple's story, and the author portrayed it so well, i was crying by the end of it. im glad this story turned out the way it did, i really really love this one :")
