I like how the story is looking 20 chapters in. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Not boring for me especially because it reflects how things may be in reality (the FL hates her circumstances, but she can't escape it). Honestly, I don't care about the romance, or I guess, the soon-to-be romance since there's none at this point in the story. I care more about the FL, whether she chooses to advocates more for herself or escape or give up. I can only hope that the author doesn't include clichés that suddenly makes everything better for the FL, because it'll put a stop to her character progression and makes her whole background story redundant.
The FL's background story makes it easy for me to sympathize with her. I could feel what she might've had felt in those moments with how her dialogues were written (spoken and unspoken lines). I hope other readers can experience this as well and not hate her just because she's being annoying and mean. If you're going to hate her, let it be because she's a coward or not putting enough effort in getting what she wants. (︶﹏︶) She's mean because someone who hasn't healed only knows how to hurt others when approached.
