I think it’s cause it’s loosely derived from the novel. I’m pretty sure the novel has better pacing than this (or so I’ve heard)

I really do like this story so far. But why is it so jumpy? I find the transition from scene to scene a little difficult and get lost sometimes. Am I the only one?
