I honestly don't feel good about the direction mc is heading. Is it just me or do I feel like as the story progress more and more, the mc is trying to force himself to becoming someone that he's not. I get that he's trying to become more femenine but direction that he's heading by meeting everyone's expectation around him. You can both be femenine and act rough. What he's becoming rn is like the super bias and mysogynistic version of a girl that people think of... it's kinda pissing me off so much.
Am I just being too woke or paranoid? Cause if mc keep heading towards that direction, even if he did make to the debut team, debut and become famous. Is the person on that stage really who he is anymore?

Not too woke at all. I was expecting some form of gender norm breaking but the direction of the story is giving those movies where the dude becomes a girl and realises wow being a girl is hard because of all the stuff you have to do but the movie never really delves into why girls have to do ut and the consequences and if it's something girls must really do anyway.

It's just annoying when ppl act like women must act a certain way

Mine's opposite. As a girl, I actually like how MC is in a crisis on how he would craft his image as being a girl because IDK for others, but I really relate to that. I'm the kind of person who's like a chameleon and based on the people that know me, my personalities are different in elementary, highschool and college. The criticism on the MC hits home because I constantly was told they like this other version my self that I don't know if I'm the quiet type or the loud and boisterous one or the smart and capable one. Also I think the reason why it feels misogynistic is because let's be real, the MC is a born male. I'm not saying all men are bort mysoginist, but with the societal structure of South Korea, it's expected that MC would go to an image of a girl who is within the expectation of male gaze. And I think it bleeds through perfectly his craftsmanship of his Yoil image and the identity crisis. Also the slow change of perception of his on women until he become one himself.
