Oh, thank god that it ended as an open ending. I couldn’t bear for her to be with any of those guys right now. I don’t like any of them with her. The only guy I wouldn’t mind is Sigmund Hyde (after a redemption arc). But that’s only my delusion.
I like Sigmund and love to have him as an ML which deviate from generic plot. But unfortunately didn’t see any spoiler of him being ML. And it is unclear that he has any romantic feelings for her let alone having any redemption arc.
I feel like even if Cass doesn’t wanna harm him, he eventually will die (most probably self destruction)
Yeah, unfortunately I feel the same way he’s headed towards destruction of his own demise. I feel like he’ll end up either dead or he’ll just leave on his own and never return. I wanna see him have a redemption arc I feel like the intentions behind his actions aren’t as villainous as they seem. I feel like he has a legit reason to act the way he does

First of all, I would like to thank myself for picking this up eventhough I had doubts about it seeing the synopsis and the cover photo. I thought it's gonna have damsel in distress kinda MC. Oh man, I am wrong. I love each and every character. They are soo complex, specially MC's thought process. I just feel author put soo much thinking while creating character design, it is just amazing. And love love love that female main character being a swordsman and having proper fight in DETAIL. Why i said? It is soo common in the manhwa world to see where FMC being a swordsman is just a second thing. Like whenever I read this kinda stories, I feel like authors just thinks that "I am putting a female protagonist as swordsman, I don’t have to put detail because they are useless and better only for romance purpose". Too mysogynist for my taste.
Also, I see lot of the comments says how Cass is dense in romance, but I beg to defer. As Cass said in one of the chapter that she was raised in the red district and she knows what they are feeling (MLs), it is just that she doesn’t feel this romantic feeling towards them. She most probably asexual or that just runs in the family. Their family dynamics is like they feel familial love more than romantic love. Also, the MVP of this story is Father (duke) and Ariya (Sister). I love them soo much.
Now the disappointment part, this types of plot doesn’t really need ML or at least not this many. I like those MLs but just not for Cass. Why you ask?
EL (the first one to appear/pope): he is a possessive kind who might respect Cass's belief's in front of her but not behind. He is crazy and a mentally weak (at least this is my opinion).
Deigo (the crown prince): very generic position he is in, and if they end up it feels like it's goes against what cass wishes (like not inherting other title) and he is more like a partner who shares opinion and build the empire tgthr like the emperor and the duke. So not for me...
Leo (the king): He is a mama's boy living in the past with angar issues. His interaction with Cass is basically feel like mother coxing her son.
Reiner (commender): Cass is most likely his idol than a love interest. He is mistaking his affection and admiration towards Cass as a romantic feeling (again my opinion).
[Novel spoiler] It was an open ending for who Cass ended up with. Author didn’t show or directly pointed at who she was with. And I genuinely like to have this ending here as well. I hope they don't change it.
