I like how duke delov wasn’t completely out of love for the duchess, but he was definitely selfish. What do you mean you think its okay to have a mistress while promising you will have only one wife? If he needed Seria for something, he could’ve had work for him. There was no need to make her a mistress, especially when you claim that you don’t love her. He refused the divorce and even chased after the duchess. Of course i feel bad for the real duchess who loved him so much that she sacrificed herself, but honestly she deserved better. And better came at the right time. Enoch and Reya couple were so cute. Their personalities mixed well, and the trust, understanding, and mutual respect were there. (Very important in a relationship), I just wished that the progress was slower because it seemed rush. Not to mention how quickly it went from Duke Delov was trying to win Reya back and then started a rebellion, it never showed how he started it or even found the younger prince. I also wish that they showed that side of the story and their background. The climax ended really quickly, im pretty sure the author was rushing it and assumed that the readers would understand that Reya could break the furnace made with alchemy because she was immune to it but it would have been more of a climax if there was more damage. Though duke delov was definitely in the wrong, I think it would have been a better move if Reya told him who the grave was for. Not only will he mourn the death of the only woman who truly ever loved him, he will die with many regrets. So since he was going to be executed anyway, i wish she just told him of his wife’s sacrifice. The plot was good, the art was good, the story was just missing depth because it was a bit rushed.
