From what I read from the novel so far is that he sees Shuri as a temptress she seduces men for power, he states that physical he is pure but inside he has been tainted bc of her, he also gets upset when she states that she actually sees the kids as her own kids, he’s basically obsessed with her and wants her to die (if I’m not wrong) bc he believes she holds way to much power with her beauty and so many men are getting lustful bc of her

this mf is unreal like also a part of me wishes they explore her returning back to time, I know this is common for this genre but given then whole thing with the Vatican I wish it played a more interesting role like this is the first time a story with her going back into time made me wish the author would expand on that in an itnerquate way even if it's just hints but allas I know this is just one of the unspoken things in this genre ╮(￣▽￣)╭
