Tbh I don't understand these readers that don't want the mc and ml together at the end. I feel like they can only be happy with each other and who doesn't want a happy ending
right?? and i think so too, their lives are too intertwined and they understand each other more than anyone. but their pain and upbringing prevent them from caring and loving in a healthy way. i really want to see them overcome the past they cling to, and dote on each other with kindness or empathy instead of domination

i wish i could jump into stories so i could kill evil npcs. everything that has happened to these characters stems from horrible and twisted adults. seeing how people treat them as children has me sobbing like they’re just BABIES!! controversial but i really hope they ended up happy together, and find the strength to communicate their innermost feelings and traumas
