Got sad seeing "King Mikael" in the new chapter with the current art style because I remembered how cool and regal he originally looked in the first chapter ,,,

I don't HATE the current art, but Mikael just looks so young and boyish all the time, not handsome and mature at alllll

I agree.. but i think the young and boyish look is acceptable? How old was he from his future king look compared to his current age?

not sure on the age! I know he is younger though of course
but even in the flashback to a younger Mikael in chapter 3 he still has a nicer, sharper look to him (especially the eyes)

again im not hating the current style, just missing the old one because that was the style I fell in love with :(

Its depressing. The art was absolutely stunning, even gorgeous! I feel bad for the current artist because they followed behind someone so incredibly talented. But I really miss the elegance, facial expressions, and mannerism- now we get stiff characters and scenes, no more magic. I still think about the artist as to what happened and if they did other projects...

    I feel you
The early art was beautiful, sharp, dynamic, full of character and detail. A very talented artist.
The new artist is also very talented, but the level of skill can just not be compared (yet). The art is generic, flat and stiff. Very few details, almost no facial expressions, almost no shading, no wrinkles or fine lines that give a face its movements and expressions.
The new artist is still learning and refining their skill of course.

I feel like there’s been added emphasis on all their cleavage too ( ̄へ ̄)
