Hokazono's art is showcased in his masterful use of black spaces and his interesting panelling. It helped him in showing the emotional gravity of a scene and the multitude of grief not shown in in Rok's face. He also does this for Chihiro in Kagurabachi.
Not to mention, his dynamic action scenes are done without clutter.

I like that his narrative style is not rushed. His exposition is enough that would make you care about the Rok's motivation that leave you wanting more.

All in all this is the perfect one-shot that showcases what Hokazono's is capable of and what he prioritizes in his writing.
