Personally, I prefer it this way, not because I hate either of them (JK or Dan), but because it will give them the time and space to think about what they truly want from each other. Or at least, that’s what I’m hoping for.
Especially dan I feel will benefit from the distance to sort his feelings our I think and yeah kinda think Jjk will spiral and regret everything shutting himself off/not eating sleeping prolly like we see rn and worried the gym people will contact dan again this time with his resolve a bit more solid the relationship will move forward

I get it man you want them to be together so do the other readers but man be deadass if somebody you like has been hurt by you in the past and then GOT STABBED TO ALMOST DEATH JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE WANTED TO DEFEAT YOU and you feel you shouldn't be with them because being with you has already caused them hurt and almost their life that is V.A.L.I.D. and the better thing to do honestly
Joo jaekyung haad mad his choice to be dan just for someone to force him out of it.
