YOHAN IS A MF JERK BUT OUR MC IS EQUALLY CRAZY HONESTLY. He knows outright that Yohan is playing with him but he willfully accepts it. It was crazy to read the novel in the MC’s POV but one thing i can say is that they’re both so toxic they deserve each other HAHAHAHA
i haven’t finished the novel and it’s been a while since i read it but here’s what i remember(what i think will be included in this season). some dudes fight jun and he remembers yohan telling him something like people don’t care who won they just care about what’s interesting so jun doesn’t try and win the fight just breaks the guys nose. after that yohan comes up to him and is like how long r we gonna keep ignoring each other my parents have been asking how you’re doing (basically trying to be juns friend again without apologising or anything) and jun accepts even tho at this point he pretty much hates yohan. despite being “friends” again yohan still treats him coldly in front of everyone else so that jun basically can’t get his old status back. one day jun goes to yohans house and his sister rosa is like i thought you’d never come back after what he did to you but i guess you’re a moron especially after the family dinner stunt jun pulled. jun then ends up telling her about how he feels bad that they were excluding yohan bc of his sexuality and stuff and rosa is confused. she tells jun yohan wasn’t outed or caught he came out on his own during christmas (his parents asked him what he wanted as a gift and he said he wanted a boyfriend). she also tells jun that yohan has never been excluded because of that and that yohan basically rules the entire house. the reason he wasn’t in family photos is bc he would get annoyed that he would by sharing the spotlight with his siblings so he would throw a fit and insist on being the one taking the photo stuff like that. she she reveals that everything jun thought about yohans life was a lie and yohan had basically fabricated it to get more attention and sympathy from jun things like how yohan would pretend to not study much and pretend he learned important subjects like history through children’s comic books when in fact he studied really hard and how he pretended he knew how to do housework when he was staying with jun. he basically pretended he was good at everything for juns admiration and pretended he was hated by his family for juns sympathy. after he finds this out jun basically hates him and plans to cut him off as soon as high school finishes. at some point minho (who’s also treated badly by yohan) comes up to jun and is like yo if you want your old status back we have to bring down yohan and starts blackmailing jun. jun is like okay what do you want and minho tells him the plan is that jun will ask yohan to go to the music room after school and then confess his feelings when yohan accepts minho will step out and reveal he had been recording the whole thing. then they’ll leak the recording to the whole school and yohan will be dropped for being gay the way junwoo was. jun agrees because of the blackmail minho has against him but at the last second he realises he still likes yohan too much to do that to him so he tells yohan that minho is hiding and recording to try and out him. yohan beats the shit out of minho and jun is worried rohan will even end up beating him to death so he tells him to stop. this pisses yohan off and he’s like why should i stop he was going to try and ruin my life. jun doesn’t want to admit that it’s bc he feels somewhat bad for minho so he lies and says it’s bc if something bad happens it will reflect on juns record too and he doesn’t want it to affect his chances of getting into uni. yohan agrees and asks jun to pick left or right and jun is confused so he just picks a random one. yohan tells him well done and tells him to leave and not worry. next day jun finds out that yohan called in another one of his friends and basically forced him to take the fall for him and admit that they beat minho up. the school uses this as an opportunity to expel minho and the other guy since they’re already troublemakers. eventually after he gets his admissions letter (after final exams are done) he decides he’s not gonna go to school because he’s already been accepted into a top uni. he runs into jaehyun in his neighbourhood and they have a chat and jun thanks him for everything. yohan sees them together in the coffee shop and he gets annoyed so he goes up to them and is like wow i didn’t know you guys were friends jun im your closest friend how come you never told me you were friends with jaehyun. jun can see jaehyun is nervous bc yknow yohan has a tendency to beat people up so he tells yohan you were never my friend jaehyun has been more of a friend to me than you ever will and he throws his drink on yohan. he grabs jaehyuns arm and drags him away but outside jaehyun pulls away and is like that was mean im gonna go apologise to yohan (jaehyun is gonna keep attending school and probably doesn’t want to rock the boat with yohan) jun is like whatever and goes home. at home he’s texts yohan basically cussing him out and saying how much he hates him and how he never wants to see him again and then blocks yohans number. that night yohan comes to his door at 3 am drunk and keeps ringing the doorbell for an hour straight and the housekeeper gets worried so she wakes jun up and is like hey your friend is outside. jun immediately knows its yohan and tells the housekeeper to ignore him and she tells jun i already tried ignoring him hes been ringing the doorbell for an hour. jun doesn’t want weird rumours going around the neighbourhood so he goes to the door to tell yohan to leave. yohan is super drunk and gets really happy to see jun. jun gets really angry and basically confronts yohan. he tells yohan he knows he’s been lying about being hated by his family and tells yohan he hates him and never wants to see his face again. hogan tries to protest but jun tells him to leave before he calls the cops. he slams the door and goes to his room but yohan stays outside. after that yohan comes to his door every night but doesn’t ring the doorbell just sits outside. eventually graduation day comes and jun has to go so his parents don’t find out he has been skipping the last few days of school. his plan is to go take a picture by the graduation banner but yohan sees him so jun runs away and yohan chase after him. they end up in the second year classroom they were in and yohan grabs him and starts saying thank you thank you thank you and jun is like get off im not here to see you and yohan reveals that he had been praying to god every night so he could see jun again. jun notices yohan doesn’t have his rosary and asks what happened to it and yohan admits that when he couldn’t see jun he stopped believing in god and threw it away. i don’t remember exactly how it happens but jun ends up kissing yohan. they both freeze and jun says something like this should be enough right don’t come looking for me anymore and runs away. at home he’s panicking bc he’s sure yohan will come after him so he decides to visit his parents in america. he tells the housekeeper he’s leaving and she’s like aren’t you gonna pack your bags or anything and jun says no hes just gonna buy new stuff in america (because he’s in a rush to leave before yohan gets to him). just as he’s about to leave he catches his own reflection in the mirror and he throws his phone at the mirror breaking it. he runs out of the house leaving his phone behind and gets into a taxi. just as the taxi is pulling away he sees yohan coming out of a taxi in front of his house. they lock eyes but it’s too late because jun is already driving off.
major spoiler for the rest of the book but probably not this season: minho tries to throw acid on jun as revenge for the music room thing but yohan jumps in the way and ends up with severe acid burns and can’t use his right hand very much afterwards.

Jun fights with classmate and lowkirkenuinely wins. Yohan is batshit crazy and basically forces Jun to be "friends" again(in the novel he doesnt apologize for almost SAing Jun[mc]). Jun is very uncomfortable around Yohan for obvious reasons. Yohan lied abt being overly ostracized by his family, yeah his dad is weird asf and mean but Yohan isnt treated super harshly at home, but he is kinda distant from his family. Infact yohan proudly announced he wanted a bf to his family. Jun starts ignoring yohan at school after they "make up". Smth happens (i forgot what) but Jun stops going to school. Jun then goes back on their graduation day and runs into Yohan who clings to him and cries thanking God cause Yohan (who isnt actually religious) prayed to god to bring him Jun again. Jun kisses yohan then runs away to college without really saying bye. Jun applies for college dorm, turns out his roommate is Yohan. Jun is very upset and kickes yohan out basically. The dude that hates Jun tried to splash acid on him but Yohan protects him and get hospitalized instead. Jun visits Yohan at the hospital basically all the time bc now he likes him again cause bro protected him. Fast forward a bit, They get drunk and bang after a college meet up when Yohan is feeling better. Boom summarized it
