But the author could have done this on purpose, although that is more of a theory. Like they Rachel and the Stars are one in the same, and that fact is simply not known by humans, or something of the sort

I mean technically the MC has memories of a modern woman so she could have made the connection to the star and the sun even if the other characters don't bc of the time period.

Oops my post got cut off. But yeah I think I agree with you more that Rachel is probably the star goddess and the author didn't have the MC mention that for that purpose but we'll see how the story continues
The sun is a star. So technically if she is seen as a star goddess wouldn't she be related to the sun goddess that the church worships.
