Jisuk's state of mind and character developmeny

Ivysaur May 13, 2026 12:27 pm

After the previous state of Jisuk's somewhat growing inferiority complex towards Jiwoo, it's kinda worrying me how his character would develop. I had a thought that after Jiwoo challenged Jisuk's kidnapper, I think Jisuk might get offended by Jiwoo's action and take it the wrong way. Just an opinion and theory, I think Jisuk might end up a villain that gets ego crushed when a Jiwoo (his friend) who was a newly awakened had grown too strong and far from him and fighting for his sake would rub him the wrong way..

I just hope I'm wrong. I don't want their friendship to be strained.. :((

yeah i feel the same way, especially now that jiwoo quite literally risked his life to avenge his friend, i fear jisuk’s complex will grow even more… the whole series has been kinda foreshadowing that friends in the awakened world are slim to none. and that betrayal happens all the time. i hope we’re wrong but i don’t have a good feeling :/

Actually its not that much of an inferiority complex, more on worried and full of regrets.. because he can't protect his loved ones anymore he felt weak and of course blame himself because he relied on being a "gifted" awakened with exceptional powers, that's why he's so aloof and easygoing he regret not trying hard enough..
