I get that but honestly the passion franchise is long and the manhwa is the adaptation of the first novel only there are still many sequels left and trust me when I say this, the manhwa lacks a lots of nuance and details compared to the novel so I get the frustration but taeui isn’t some kind of dumb mc or anything of that sort he’s very well written so in my opinion it’s best to read the novels

okay pls don’t be mad at me for this terrible job i think im about to do . but the bottom thought that the top was only with him because he wanted to get revenge on the bottoms family. which the bottom didn’t speak to the top and starting having his own misunderstanding about the rls and just went on thinking his version was the truth.

the top sees the bottom only to have sex for the rut, but if i remember correctly they never got a divorce. the bottom in this last episode got revenge for the top against his own family (that’s what im implying because the step mom went ape shit on the bottom) and i’m guessing him being in love with the top isn’t helping the fact because he so into his own mind about this misunderstanding to talk to the top and clear it ALL up.

and the jump for two years is i’m guessing not important because all the bottom was doing was work, revenge and occasionally rut sex with the top.

The bottom is in love with the top, however after the kidnapping incident the kidnappers mentioned the tops tragic history and why he has bad blood with Yushin. So the bottom began to "understand" that it turns out their marriage was a strategic move for revenge rather than because it was for interest/love. Bottom gets hurt but loves him, so he's also letting himself get used for revenge, while also enacting revenge secretly on his own side towards his family and making them lose power. Thus why the mom is angry. The rut instability is an important factor for later.
