if i'm reading it right, i think jaehyuk is backing off because he realized his way of liking garam thus far has been causing garam stress (the pushing away family and friends thing)
+ not caring about his reputation
I truly hate what’s happening between Jaehyuk and Garam. There were cracks from the beginning of their relationship, so maybe now they’re separated they can realise what it is they truly want and how much they love each other. Right now, I’m just hoping because it doesn’t look good for them.
But wait is this chapter 119 or 120

- Jaehyuk bangs on Garam's door telling him to open up after he overheard Garam groaning from pain. He took him to the hospital where Garam got IV. He has gastritis and ulcer from stress.
- They make their way to the car. Jaehyuk asks since when was Garam feeling indigestion before it got to the point of having an ulcer, and Garam says it's been a month, which Jaehyuk concludes it was since he got his part time job as a model.
- Jaehyuk cursed at himself in his thoughts. It was because of his part time job, because they fought... It was all because he liked Garam, but was he good for Garam? When he carried Garam to the hospital, he was surprised at how light he was in just a few weeks. It's not like he didn't know that Garam was vulnerable to stress and indifferent to his own health.
- He tells Garam he'll take him to their apartment to rest for today. But Garam says it's more comfortable in the small room he's currently renting. Jaehyuk is frustrated that even in this state, Garam won't do what he asks of him. He just thinks Garam shouldn't stay in a cramped and dirty space after getting sick. Then he remembers Garam's words about Jaehyuk not caring about his reputation and how it's not normal to be pushing away his family and friends just because of their relationship.
- Jaehyuk agrees to take Garam back to the small room and says that Garam won't experience troublesome things anymore.
