I could be completely wrong also don't think i hate blonde guy he's just a kid who thinks he has to take on more responsibility than he has to because his father died at a young age it shows this when he wasnt going to college because he took it upon himself to provide for his family by getting a job. And i think those kinds of thoughts are accidentally happening here he's thinking too far and hard ahead of things and can't see the big picture and connect the issues he's having with glasses guy because he's not thinking about what he actually wants todo only what in his mind is better for the other guy like choosing between him and the girl which is silly because why in the world would you think your partner would like that or appreciate that when the one he loves is you LOL

I think the point is blondie is over here saying choose well take into consideration who you want to be with and glasses guy is like feeling why aren't your upset or jealous blondie is trying to hard not to be overbearing again and doesn't realize being too lighthearted over whats happening like that girl confessing to his boyfriend is actually hurtful. Like some girl comes around and its just that easy for him to let him ago i think glasses guy feels this jealousy inside for blondie is painful because he loves blondie but seeing blondie being able to let their love go makes him feel like either doesn't think of him the same way as if only he's jealous and probably shame and embarrassment thinking is this normal why isn't he feeling the same way as me after a girl confessed to me. Also saying you can leave me for her im restricting your options as if they don't love eachother and they don't have a deep connection.
