I think the main issue most people are pointing out is that it was rumored that the author was gonna let them have a threesome and didn’t show much hate towards the character. Pretty sure they aren’t stupid to not recognize an antagonist vs a favored red flag the author wants to push into the relationship.
I can’t see I know exactly what the author is thinking and I’m just hoping it doesn’t go down that route of glorifying him
i agree. it feels like the author is dipping into downplaying SA at best and glorifying it at worst. I've come across plenty of stories which carefully address SA as a plot element to tell a character's experience, and this aint one of them
wait ur right & i wholeheartedly agree!! i was thinking along the lines of SA itself isnt a necessarily a moral failure as an author to put in a story, BUT the author of this particular story is evidently glorifying and its def weird...
not every manhwa is gonna be sunshine lollipops i think baek muyeol sucks but he sucks bc the author designed the character to suck. he very much has a purpose in the plot, and its to antagonize the main characters if you read literally ANY book, like regular books, antagonists exist for a reason or else this would js be boring nothingburger slop
