ooh, your ranking is so different from where I'd place things. I almost never read omegaverse or office romances. My list of favourite tropes would probably be this:
1. College/school settings : I get so nostalgic when I read coming of age stories. I agree that the plots can get repetitive, but im such a sucker for the shyness and clumsiness that comes with young love. I also only just graduated uni so I found the setting relatable.
2. Fantasy : Love me a fantasy. The world building is usually really interesting in these since they have to set up magic systems or kingdom politics. I feel like fantasy also has a lot of over powered power couples which I love to see.
3. Enemies to lovers : Love the tension and bantering between MCs and MLs who hate each other but for some reason have to be in each other's company. I find I lose interest if the couple falls for each other too easily and quickly into the story.
4. Entertainment industry : These are really hit or miss, but I love a top quality idol or actor bl. Probably because I like celebrities in general so it's fun to see the "behind the scenes" romances.
5. Survival : I love any type of survival show or game. Smart MCs are my favourite & the "games" are usually unique. These stories are pretty far and between though. I read a lot of unlimited flow danmei tho so thats usually where I get my fill.
Overall, interesting settings, power couples, and comedic undertones is what I usually gravitate towards.
Everyone who says that they love Omegaverse but haven’t read Terminus, I won’t believe them.

1. College(honestly college and office compete for the top spot. Theyre pretty interchangeable to me)
2. Office
3. Omegaverse (This can change ranks depending on how well it's done)
4. Historical ( this story https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/joseon_sex_shop/ singlehandedly kept this above guideverse on the rank. It is so fucking good.
5. Guideverse (Honestly I dont dislike it but it takes a certain version of it for me to realllllyyyy like it. Maybe I just havent read enough

1: Historical settings/ Not even just Korean even though I mostly read Manhwa, it's just something about the different society and the clothes that I love so much and most of the time if it's Historical and BL I know there's gonna be some messy shit happening
2: Office romance/ This is such a cliche and I understand why, it really never gets boring for me because there's so many different ways you can mix it up outside of the office. Plus, I just like seeing twinks in suits.
3: Omegaverse/ Now this would've been higher up but most of the times for me its hit or miss. Like what's the point if there's no baby in the end? Or worse the Alpha ain't shit, literally the quickest way to piss me off. But I do like how different the world building can be based off the author.
4: College/School setting/ I won't say that I haven't enjoyed any of it, it can be really good based on the overall plot but I feel like it can get repetitive at times. Like yknow, quiet kid x delinquent, top student x delinquent, childhood best friends, Rivals over grades, Rivals over sports- See where I'm going here? It's not often that something different happens, at least not in what I've read.
5: Guidverse/ Honestly it's always been just meh to me. Idk just never really liked it but I do like how they mix action (sometimes) with romance so it's definitely still something I like
