There is a novel and though I’m not too far into it (read like 100 ch. I think), I heard people saying that he doesn’t get with any of them. I can’t confirm it myself but he claims to see them as kids only for good portion of the novel (because I jumped through chapters to be sure he doesn’t get interested in them)
