Yeah, i feel like this as a comic has a hard time plotting out yhe timelines and would be better as a novel but even then I feel like it'd be even more difficult unless there's a whole separate book dedicating itself to the entire world build aspect then following it up with the present time line
It's like...where is the editor on this, I feel like a decent editor would be able to help hone in on the good bits
This story just kind of feels overambitious. Like the author has a lot of very interesting ideas but it's so dense that it kind of goes white noise at times. Like it relies too much on exposition and flashbacks to the point that it's difficult to actually keep up with the present day narrative. It's all well thought out but it's not planned out very well. I still enjoy it but my eyes just glaze over at parts.
