I read the newest chapter of Jinx with my boyfriend and his reaction was "Well, I felt absolutely nothing from that chapter, what a waste". He was so excited to read it when I said there was a new chapter out lol. I thought it was underwhelming, but not completely terrible, but Jaekyung's absence when he should have been hugging Dan when he first regained consciousness and the decision they made at the end is dumb. I much rather of seen Jaekyung begging on the floor for Dan to stay and confessing that he was scared about losing him every day he was unconscious, and that the only reason he did the match was because Dan asked him to win as a dying wish, but I guess she's saving that for another chapter.
Yeahh they are definitely saving the plot and they might use the grandma as plot device to reunited them together... Might be like a last wish or something but maaaaaaan the last chapter is underwhelming that the shift of emotions you get from the chapter before the last chapter is vastly different... I would rather have a chapter where they show that they dealt with the antagonist first hand while also dealing with dan leaving at the same time and not some kind of 'he was here when i was asleep but he disappears when i wake up and we do that cycle multiple times'.... BUT IMMA BE HONEST THIS MANHWA (CANT THINK STRAIGHT) IS WAY MORE FRUSTRATING because we've been here for like a while and were just doing back and forth atp...
Omg im not the only one who feel the same!! This manhwa has at least comedy as the genre so its really frustrating to wait for chapter to chapter of just angst and whatnot... It become soooo stale and boring.. the uni part chapters was kinda okay because it atleast made the angst lighthearted, bearable and youd think the plot is moving forward yet we back in step one with this ulcer stuff so yeaaah... Im saying this because the latest raws is still angst so its boring for me rn.... It didn't help that the jinx chapter is also underwhelming lol
