This chapter honestly made me annoyed until daesung blew up on her and called her selfish which was so refreshing!! I thought he was going to suck it up for her sake and forgive her acting like that but I’m happy he didn’t. She has 0 obligation to reciprocate his feelings of course but she also shouldn’t just ignore them and expect him to do the same. I just hope she doesn’t do something dumb like suggesting dating just to be his friend still, my green flag boy daesung deserves better than that (▰˘◡˘▰)

I mean you could say hes selfish too for blowing up the friendship when he knew she didnt feel the same way. Its just a really messed up situation. I really hope they dont end up together because it seems like she isn't into dating and I dont want the same old "I didnt realize I loved you until you were gone" troupe

I don’t see it as him being selfish when he kept those feelings hidden for the “sake” of the friendship for ages already. Him saying it out loud I don’t really see as him hoping for anything from her side, since he knew she didn’t feel the same way (even if I’m sure he had some hope). In the end, if he kept everything bottled up and continued to just be her friend, it wouldn’t be fair on him and he’d only be doing it for her sake and the friendship would be ruined anyway, she just would be oblivious to it. She owes him nothing mind you, but I think her expecting him to just ignore his own feelings and repress them for the sake of her feelings feels very inconsiderate when he clearly did prioritize her feelings for so long. I do 100% agree with you though, right now I sadly see this going in a very cliche trope way I’m not a big fan of, when they had such potential.
