I like tsunderes overall too (more than the kuudere type for sure), am okay with Tamura but really not a fan of shipping him with Yacchan,, also he is no Kyo from Fruits Basket— but pretty much no one is hehe (honestly would align Kyosuke/Yacchan with the tsundere type and closer to Kyo more too, that’s part of what drew me to him after all)

First of all, peak username For sure not every ship is for everyone, it’s totally cool not liking it and I tbh agree with Yacchan also being very tsundere coded (even more than Tamura fr). Personally I ship them, mostly because how Tamura is a switch so I can see him bend to whatever Yacchan prefers (which Tono already is doing anyways). But seeing some comments call Tamura a full on bully just when he’s being a usual tsundere is unreal when Yacchan has had quite a few more times where he was acting more like a bully since he’s also very tsundere coded Not that being a tsundere is ever an excuse for being a bully, but at most I feel like Tamura has been annoying rather than a bully lol

Why thank you~ Understandable yeah, I mainly remember Tamura’s “tsundere” behavior showing up with Yuri but even then I think I’d categorize that with something else, not sure specifically what personality type I’d call Tamura but it’s interesting for sure (and I love whatever that is lol)! That makes make with the switching concept, and yeah those bully comments were kinda wild, I see it a bit (like in a light teasing way) from how Yacchan would misunderstand based on interactions so far but comments were reaching extra lmao, and would agree that it seems to have mellowed out like just being annoying… Funny enough, I actually like bully x victim ships a lot too but that’s like a whole nother concept that doesn’t fit that pair like you said, and I’m getting more of the appeal now that I’m thinking about that scene where Yacchan talked back and got up close, flustering Tamura hehehe.

pfft I meant to say “that makes sense” not “that makes make” XD, (side note: I didn’t want to generalize a whole subculture and misalign it, but Tamura’s vibes remind me of a sleazy cool/bitchy vibe that gets stereotyped & fetishized with the gyaru/gyaruo concept, and idk maybe he could count as a gyaruo?? he’s like cool but puts the bitch in yarichin bitch club for sure lolol, whatever he is I’m loving it),, I think I’m just initially put off by the Tamura & Yacchan ship because I’m so invested in the already established playful nature between Yacchan & Toono and could like that ship in another story/universe (I enjoy both their personality/character types so it sounds fun<3)

sorry last comment in this part of the chain, I should’ve clarified that I see Tamura as gyaruo-coded for his style and it’s not just based on the personality stereotype XP

I SEE THE GYARUO VISION FOR SURE I think it aligns way more with him, like he reminds me of a dumber (and less “classy” if that makes sense lol) version of the 2nd mc in bj alex. Like he’s 10000% a brat and that is what makes him great for me, I love brats
