SPOILER!!!!!!!!! I spoiler everything I remember from when I read the novel
Dohyun is manipulative because he grew up in that kind of ambience, so even if he's a dominant alpha he learnt how to understand others and what to do to win them over. He was the teacher of Yeon because Yeon's mother wanted to control his child and, in fact, even Danny was payed to be Yeon's friend. Dohyun though doesn't say anything to Yeon and the story makes you think he's always hiding something like when he doesn't answer his phone in front of MC saying they're spam calls, and it doesn't help he didn't talk at all of his past. So it's easy for Yeon's mother to create a misunderstanding and make Yeon think ML was payed to take care of MC even now and they break up. Yada Yada turns out Dohyun was just insecure and loved MC so much he couldn't bring himself to break the 'perfect teacher' bubble he thought MC had, so yeah they make up. I read the story some time ago so maybe it's not very accurate but it was really good even though the translations I read weren't that good. The manhwa doesn't do a really good job at storytelling, I have to say ML is just sooo hot, he really is portrayed well phisically, but in the manhwa it's all too mysterious and the scenes don't end, the artist just skeep from a scene to another, the novel is on another level, I recommend it.
