She was unaware that cyrill was acting on her own and those were not the orders of the royal couple to keep her out of sight
But yeah that point when she thought cyrill must have her circumstances is too half assessed when on other hand she hated the royals with all of her might
So far this is one of the rare stories where the king, queen, and consorts are nice people that don’t scheme for power and aren’t secretly evil.
I don’t blame the king and queen at all tbh. All the blame should be towards the kidnapper, Cyrill. The king and queen had no knowledge of her existence and were also tricked. It’s like saying in modern times, the parents trust a longtime babysitter and the babysitter kidnaps their kid, the parents get most of the blame instead??
It does feel odd, since FL should mentally be an adult, she mainly blamed the parents despite having knowledge of cyrill putting her in that room in the first place. And later she’s more lenient towards cyrill saying “she must have her reasons even if she did something bad.” I would only get this behavior if she were an actual child, but she’s mentally an adult and is acting weirdly placing most of the blame on the parents instead of the kidnapper.
