Its possible that she really has no idea thag she gave birth to twins. She gave birth in the olden times where it hard to stay conscious while giving birth, no(?) epidural and stuff and more. Its possible that when her mother gave birth to her she was already out of it and also maybe its possible that she is already in a hazy state but who knows
If she were drugged, then that should have worn out long time ago. That maid was long gone. When feeding it to Fatima, she needed to give a small dosis periodically, not just once.
That mother is way to indifferent hearing the truth! As if "Oh, I see..and?!". All she cares about is the twin brother. And seeing the family chart, it's not her only set of twins.
That doctor should have noticed that she was drugged, before giving birth. And besides that mother cares more about that one son. If that drug was so potent, she should be indifferent with that son as well. As it affects the brain, feeling ignorant.
I just think that's her personality, because it was a forced marriage. She probably hated being there.
I posted this up top but it seemed good to post in this discussion too- Cyrille's mentioned brainwashing for Fatima. She said she brainwashed her and that she would use her for breeding. I think they did that to Fatima‘s mom. Everyone is a victim here. Chihiro is an adult and she should understand these things I’m disappointed she didn’t have more sympathy to the king.
Dunno about the brainwashing the mom, yet. But for kids it's more easy to do so, than the adults. If it was so easy to brainwash the mom, might as well brainwash the king directly. So she can get the kid without problems. Plus, it seems, the maid didn't had the need to do the same with the brother, while the twins meet each other a couple of times.
I also find it a bit weird, that the king can't tell he's holding a different baby. He probably thought switching being lethargic and active is normal for a baby? Even though he sired so many kids already ( ̄∇ ̄")
But yeah, disappointed the way Chihiro handled the situation. How could he even search for a trapped kid, without knowing?
Anyway, we shall see what really happens. Just hope that Chihiro doesn't forgive that maid so easily, while giving the king the cold shoulder. It's that maid's fault for everything. Yet she brushed it off so quickly.
Yeah i don’t know about the mom but i find it weird that she seems so uninterested in the son even if the son is the second prince he has so much value so the only conclusion is that she’s been brainwashed. If she was in cahoots with the maid wouldn’t the maid have not had to have gone through great lengths to keep Fatima a secret?
As for the king he’s got like 9 kids and 3 of them were born at the same time and it was said the looked alike i just think the poor man was bamboozled.
I dont think she would forgive the maid she might help the country but i doubt she will forgive her
Well hope so, hehe. She had a strong reaction against the King, and even the Queen, thinking she was the mom of Fatima. Even shouting her longs off and fainting ( ̄∇ ̄"). While with the Maid it was just a saying: "I'm sure she had her reasons, although can't forgive" ...that's quite vague. If there's chance, that she might meet that maid, I wonder what her reactions would be.
At least Fátima, can rest in peace now, now that she knows the truth about her parents.
I'm looking forward to having all our questions cleared up (=・ω・=)

I understand her feelings of not forgiving the entire Royal family, but what could he have done to save Fatima, without knowing she even exists? Who would think out of the blue: "Oh there must be some abandoned girl in our castle. Let's go find and save her.". (Even in modern world, there are a few cases where newborn gets switched at birth.). If she wants to blame someone, blame that maid. She practically kidnapped her. I feel that Chihiro, punish those Royalty way harder than that maid, who is the one who left her there in the 1st place.
Also, that Fátima's mother is weird af. Is she stoned? As if: Do I have a twin? I dunno, and I don't care...
