final verdict: I don't like how it excuses the pain hojin went through with "he fell in love!!" like he literally got forced into prostitution and physically abused but sure i guess.
sure "he's right where he wants to be" but at the same time he's always been a victim who's gotten used to painful relationships to the point that he couldn't even tell he was heartbroken.
I wished he was given a chance to be angry and upset like I was really waiting for him to blow up :/
Mee too for real it upsets me so much how Beak Yeonsoo didn't get to experience half the pain Hojin went through loving him, especially the side story about omegaverse where Hojin attempted to leave him many times and everytime because he couldn't bear it anymore but still he stayed because he loved him so much and it got me thinking just how toxic and selfish Yeonsoo is not able to see that like they're been together for years and he only realize it one time after MANY ATTEMPT and didn't we didn't even get to see him reflect towards his actions that much because he just propose and they're okay again LIKE REALLY? it pisses me off
oh my god u get me. the omegaverse AU pisses me off so much like hojin deserves way better than that half assed apology and stupid ass proposal IT HURT ME SO MUCH THAT HE HAD BEEN DOING THAT SO MANY TIMES TOO LIKE FUCKKKK baek yeonsoo can just get away with it without any real consequences because hojin loves him too much its so frustrating
Oh my god yall are literally my people.
It blows my mind looking through the comment section seeing people talking about cute, sweet and amazing the story was like guys...did we reading the same thing???
I get it, Yeonsoo has his issues and everything but he treated Hojin like shit constantly, especially in the omegaverse side story. That shit pisses me off every time I think about it. Fucked around with the guy's feelings for 10 years.
The author using the excuse of Hojin enjoying being hit and loving Yeonsoo so much that he didn't care that he was being hurt physically and emotionally just seemed like such a lazy plot point/character aspect. And as we're seeing here in the comment section, it just gives readers the ability to brush off the abuse that Hojin suffers as something that's 'cutely toxic' and when you call this shit out, you get downvoted.
I totally agree though, I was also really waiting for Hojin to blow up or at least get some backbone

I want to say i liked this one but at the same time there were so many problematic things that i couldnt just gloss over. and then theres the omegaverse AU oh my gosh thats a whole other thing
