What happened towards the end plus can u spoil it to me since I don’t have lots of time to read the novel or 6 volumes

Ilay also arrived together with Xinlu, he’s just busy bombing everything now. They see each other, Ilay even smiles as he sees Tay.. BUT!!! Xinlu.. this little prick, kidnaps Tay, and even worse Tay kind of agrees to it(I don’t remember why, but there was some kind of reasoning to it, not strong enough in my humble opinion).
Xinlu takes Tay and his brother to a hotel somewhere in Africa, where Tay finds out he and Ilay are wanted as terrorists, for what happened in the residence.
So they are having another misunderstanding, where Ilay thinks Tay left him again and Tay is scared for his life, but eventually leaves the hotel to clear the misunderstanding with him. It didn’t really go according to his initial plan, and Ilay found him first, but the misunderstanding was cleared eventually, in its own manner.. and then they kind of lived happily ever after in Germany

I’ll be honest I wish there were some sort of extras, but the story is like 20 years old, so I don’t get my hopes up
